This is an original block print that was hand carved then hand printed onto paper.

Brown pelicans were nearing extinction as I grew up in the state of Louisiana. Since 2009, the pelicans were removed from the endangered species list when scientists found the problem in pesticides and worked to transport brown pelicans back into the state. Now, they can be spotted all throughout the state soaring through the skies or perching near water.

  • Printed in dark gray/brown ink on off white fine art paper.

  • Paper size 9"x12".

  • Signed on the front.

  • Comes in a cello sleeve with thick backer to prevent damage during shipping.
